Parliamentary Research Officer and Parliamentary Research Assistant
If you’re interested in working in politics, being a parliamentary researcher puts you at the heart of the action. As the name suggests, these jobs will involve research on a variety of parliamentary issues, questions, bills, motions, reports and related policy topics. These jobs will also involve monitoring parliamentary business, organising parliamentary briefings and related matters.
Main requirements include:-
Able to converse and write in Bahasa Melayu and English (Mandarin is an added advantage);
Have a strong interest in socio-political and economic issues;
Knowledge of economic principles is an advantage;
Able to work independently;
Able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends;
Relevant degree holder or related working experience.
